The Regional Trial Courts at the Bacolod Hall of Justice will resume full operations starting Tuesday, March 1, Executive Judge Raymond Joseph Javier said Monday.
Javier, in a memorandum to all judges and court staff, said in compliance with Office of the Court Administrator’s Circular No. 41-2022 courts in areas placed under Alert Level 1 should resume full operations.
Bacolod City has been placed under Alert Level 1 until March 15.
Regular office hours at the courts will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, Javier said.
For Saturday duty the appropriate manpower compliment of at least two court staff members should accompany the judge-on-duty, he added.
Personal filling and follow-up of cases are allowed, he said.
Judges should also give priority to in-court or face-to-face hearings and continue to conduct video conferencing hearings in the courtrooms, he said.
Judges are reminded to comply with all health and safety protocols against COVID-19, he added.
The Bacolod Hall of Justice will be open to all court visitors who will be allowed entry subject to minimum health protocols and security measures, Javier said.*
