The police arrested a 40-year-old man and seized suspected shabu worth P340,000 in a buy bust operation at crossing Tuguis, Brgy. Buenavista Gibong, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, March 7.
The suspect, whose name was withheld by the police, is from Brgy. Narauis Paticui, Hinigaran.
Seized from him were 10 heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams, an improvised glass tooter with traces of suspected shabu and other non-drug items, the police reported.
The suspect is now detained at the Pontevedra Police Station, while the drug evidence was turned over to the forensic unit of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office in Bacolod City.*
