A high-value drug personality and four other individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation that led to the seizure of P1.36 million worth of suspected shabu in Purok Lubi, Barangay 3, Bacolod City, early Wednesday morning, July 9.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) launched the operation at around 4:33 a.m., where the primary target was identified as alias “Toto Murillo” or “Tantan,” 21, a resident of Barangay 3.
Also arrested were alias “Negro,” 37; “Jonathan,” 22; and “Justine,” 29, all residents of Barangay 3, and alias “Teyob,” 32, of Barangay Pahanocoy.
The police said they recovered approximately 200 grams of suspected shabu.
All five suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
