The police seized about P1.24 million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in two cities and a town in Negros Occidental on Friday and Saturday, August 18 and 19.
The Bacolod City Police Office reported that Alfredo Aplasca Jr., 57, of Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, was arrested in a buy-bust operation where they seized 153 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,040,400, early Saturday morning.
Jose Godinez, 39, of Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City, was also arrested in a buy-bust operation, Friday night, the BCPO reported.
Recovered were 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000, the police said.
Meanwhile, John Mark Medina, 35, of Brgy. Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, was also arrested on Friday, the police said.
Recovered from him were five grams of shabu worth P34,000, the police said.
Johnson Tan, 37, of Brgy. 5, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, was also arrested in a buy-bust operation, Friday afternoon, Aug. 18.
Recovered from the suspect was five grams of suspected shabu valued at P34,000.*
