A Taiwanese businessman was arrested for charges of illegal possession of firearms 24 years ago in an operation at Hernaez Street in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City, on Thursday, February 1.
Hsu Chia Chen, 57, who resides in Brgy. Poblacion 1, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest at about 3:20 p.m., Thursday.
The warrant of arrest against the suspect was issued by Edgar Garvilles, then Executive Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 43 in Bacolod City, for service of sentence dated Jan. 4, 2000.
The suspect is now under the custody of Bacolod City Police Station 6.*
