
The police arrested one of Negros Island Region’s most wanted persons for murder in Brgy. Manipis, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, on Monday, Sept. 8.
The suspect, whose name was not disclosed by the police, ranked No. 7 at the regional level, No. 4 in the provincial level, and No. 2 in the city level..
He was arrested by the Tanjay City Police Station Tracker Team around 4:52 p.m., the police reported.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Christine Tabasuares-Aba, with no bail recommended.
Police said the suspect is accused of killing his own nephew on March 29 in Brgy. Novallas, Tanjay.
He is now under the custody of the Tanjay Police.*
