Cops nab ‘drug group member’, 4 others, seize P3.7M in shabu

The police arrested five persons, including an alleged member of a notorious drug group and two food vendors, and seized P3.7 million in shabu in two buy-bust operations in Bacolod City during the weekend.

The police arrested three individuals, including a member of a notorious drug group, and seized suspected shabu worth P2 million in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, on Saturday, August 10.

Arrested were Jerome Paurillo, 37, a resident of Brgy. Kamang-Kamang, Isabela, Lloyd Paul Toculan, 29, of Brgy. Zarandin, Valladolid, and Aive Jean Colonia, 32, of Brgy. Nanunga, Hinigaran, all in Negros Occidental, the police said.

Paurillo was tagged by the police as a high-value drug personality and an alleged member of the notorious Bugalon Drug Group.

The police recovered from them 300 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street drug price of P2,040,000.

A car, weighing scale, and other non-drug items were also confiscated during the operation conducted by the Bacolod City Police Station 8.

The suspects are now detained at Police Station 8.

Food vendors Marivic Alisbo Montes, 54, alias madam, and Ray-An Cañete Espinosa, 39, were also arrested in a buy bust operation in Purok Uno Sisi, Brgy Singcang-Airport, at 2:22 a.m. Sunday, August 11, the police reported.

Seized from them were 255 grams of suspected shabu estimated to cost P1,734,000, the police said.

They are detained at Police Station 8*
