Cops nab Bacolodnon with P54K in ‘shabu’

An unemployed man was arrested with P54,400 worth of suspected shabu in Purok Lampirong, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, 9:05 p.m. Friday, January 2, the police reported.

Arrested was John Mark Arnaiz, 23, a resident of Purok Lubi, Brgy. 3, Bacolod, the police said.

Recovered from him were nine heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams, the police said.

The suspect is currently detained at the Bacolod Police Station 2.

He was apprehended for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, the police said.*
