Police arrested a 40-year-old woman and seized about P102,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 35, Bacolod City, late Wednesday night, March 11.
The suspect, identified as alias “Nene,” of Barangay 35 was arrested at around 11:01 p.m. in Purok Maabi-Abihon.
The operation was conducted by the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Lt. Col. Albert Sy.
Police said the suspect sold a heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for marked money.
Authorities said a subsequent search resulted in the confiscation of about 15 grams of suspected shabu.
The seized illegal drugs have an estimated standard drug price of P102,000.
The suspect is currently under the custody of Police Station 1.
Police said the suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
