The Police Regional Office-6 operatives arrested 30 wanted persons in Western Visayas on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 9 and 10, PRO-6 reported.
The WV police arrested four most wanted and 26 other wanted persons.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office arrested seven individuals, while the Negros Occidental PPO and Iloilo City Police Office arrested six each, Bacolod CPO – five, Antique PPO – four, and Capiz and Guimaras PPO – one each.
The accused are now under police custody and will be turned over to the court that issued their warrants of arrest.
PRO-6 Director BGen. Jack Wanky thanked the community for providing information that led to the arrests of the wanted persons.
“As you continuously support your police in the region, rest assured that your identities will be protected and surely the remaining wanted persons in the region will be cornered,” he added.*
