The police arrested 12 suspects and seized P652,800 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in three cities of Negros Occidental, Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3.
The Bacolod police arrested Leonora Suico, 19, of Brgy. Handumanan and Anthony Eppie, 43, of Brgy. 12 and confiscated suspected shabu amounting to P340,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Mambulok, Brgy. 10, on Friday.
Seized from the two were nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams, the police reported.
The Bacolod police also conducted a buy-bust operation in Purok Maabi-abihon, Brgy. 35, and arrested Brando Bacarro, 39, and Charles Micheal Ponta-oy, 26, on Saturday.
Confiscated were seven grams of suspected shabu valued at P47,600, the police said.
In Himamaylan City policemen confiscated 30 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000 from four suspects in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Aguisan, Saturday.
Arrested were Eddie Oliverio, 22, of Brgy. Guilhungan, Cauayan, Richard Sanico, 41, of Brgy. Guinpanaan, Moises Padillea, Rolex Dela Cruz, 27, of Brgy. Paayo, Binlabagan, and Felicimo Laranio, 33, of Brgy. 2, Pontenvedra, the police reported.
The police also arrested four individuals, including a minor, after they seized nine grams of suspected shabu worth P61,200 in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, Friday.
Arrested were Joshua Superficial, 21, of Brgy. Mambulac, Bryan Gando, 19, of Brgy. 2, Micheal Sotelo, 38, and a minor both from Brgy. E. Lopez, all in Silay City, the police said.*
