Twelve persons, including five minors, were arrested in Bacolod City for violation of the Anti-Vandalism Ordinance, the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reported on Monday, May 6.
Arrested were three minors from Purok Totong, Brgy. Felisa, two minors from Brgy. Handumanan, an 18-year-old man from Brgy. Mansilingan, Kenneth Cioco, 32, from Brgy Vista Alegre, Daniel Almores Jr., 21, from Brgy. Mandalagan;
American citizen Jean Clifford Rabinowitz, 30, who is temporarily residing in Brgy. Taculing, and Glemar Gabuya, 35, Roger Delfin, 38, and Rey Cabison, 40, all from Brgy. Tangub.
They were arrested by the BCPO’s Task Force Against Vandalism since last month.
On April 3, the BCPO Anti-Vandalism Task Force was formed with Lt.Col. Lester Leada as the Overall Supervisor.
The task force was created after the directive of Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez to strictly implement the Anti-Vandalism Ordinance.
BCPO director, Col. Noel Aliño, said that monetary rewards will be given to police officers who can apprehend the vandals.*
