Three individuals were arrested after the police seized an estimated ₱816,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation at the Bredco Port in Purok Lampirong, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, early Friday, November 14.
Arrested were alias “Dionelo”, 21, of Brgy. Banago, alias “Michael”, 32, of Brgy. Don Salvador Benedicto in Pontevedra, and alias “Stan”, also known as “Sino y Cole,” 27, of Brgy. E. Lopez, Silay City.
The Bacolod City Police Office said the operation was carried out by its City Drug Enforcement Unit around 12:45 a.m., resulting in the confiscation of about 120 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspects are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
