Consumers’ group Water Watch Advocates (WWA) is launching a signature campaign to nullify the joint venture agreement between the Bacolod City Water District and PrimeWater in Bacolod City on Wednesday, May 28.
The WWA position paper calls for the nullification of the JVA for lack of transparency and public consultation, potential harm to consumers, violation of public trust, inadequate regulatory oversight, and threat to water security.
The group is also calling concerned citizens, organizations, and government agencies to support their position.*
