Construction worker stabs 4 Bacolodnons, two die

A construction worker will face homicide and frustrated homicide charges for allegedly stabbing four individuals, two of whom died, after confronting them about loud noise coming from their house in Purok Florence Ville, Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City, Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Marcelo Rojo, 67, a construction worker of Purok Florence Ville was arrested after he stabbed four individuals at about 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, the police reported.

Richard Orita, 49, and Rolando Pigollo, died, while Orita’s children Richelle, 29, and Richie, 27, were injured.

Police investigation revealed that while the victims were having a drinking spree, the suspect went to them and shouted that their music was too loud and to lower the volume.

The victims went to the suspect’s house to beat him up prompting Rojo to get a bladed weapon and stab the victims, the police report said.

Richard and Pigollo sustained fatal stab wounds.

Richelle and Richie who also sustained stab wounds are confined at a hospital.

Capt. Greeky Cayao, Bacolod Police Station 8 commander, said the family of the victims will file charges against the suspect for homicide and frustrated homicide.

The suspect, who was also brought to the hospital due to injuries, is now under the custody of Police Station 8.*
