The Bacolod City Legal Office is investigating a complaint against two Office of the Building Official (OBO) personnel for alleged extortion.
The extortion allegedly occurred during a Mayor’s Permit renewal inspection in Bacolod City, the City Public Information Office said.
They allegedly demanded P5,000 to expedite OBO clearance approval on January 11.
The two OBO personnel have been directed to respond within three days to the accusation hurled against them.*
