CLMMRH limits admissions as it hits near full capacity

The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City will be limiting its admissions of non-COVID-19 cases due to the near full capacity of its allocated beds, its management announced Monday, September 6.

The Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology and Department of Pediatrics will be affected and will cater to patients limited to extreme emergency cases, a CLMMRH advisory said.

Also, CLMMRH has ongoing renovations in its COVID wards to ensure the safety of all patients and staff, it said.

It has reached its maximum capacity on the dedicated isolation beds for COVID-19 patients as well as the Critical Care Unit beds, the advisory said.

The Emergency Department of the Hospital has also reached its full capacity on the allocated hospital beds for COVID-19 patients, it added.

CLMMRH will limit its acceptance of patients and will strictly enforce coordinated referrals among incoming patients.

For inquiries and proper coordination of patient transfer, one can contact the hospital hotline, (034) 703-1350, 0917-1007093 or 701-7865, the advisory said.*
