A public consultation on Bacolod City’s underground cabling road map will be held this month with a detailed presentation involving telecommunication firms, a press release from the Bacolod City government said Monday, Nov.4.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez convened the Task Force Spaghetti Wires that is tasked with removal of eyesore electricity and telecommunication lines from utility poles at the Mayor’s Office at the Bacolod City Government Center on Monday.
Attendees discussed various suggestions, such as implementing a four-day workweek for the downtown operations of the task force that will resume on Wednesday, the press release said.
Present at the meeting were representatives from key government offices and telecommunication companies.*
