The Council of Concerned Citizens (CCC) will begin its inspection of flood control and drainage projects implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways in Bacolod City starting Monday, Sept. 22, as part of the continuing campaign against corruption.
An orientation will be held at the San Antonio Abad Church Monday morning, and representatives of the offices of Bacolod Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez and Mayor Greg Gasataya will join them, Fr. Aniceto “Mao” Buenafe, CCC convenor, said.
They will initially inspect flood control projects at the Lupit and Mandalagan rivers on Monday, he said.
They are calling on technical people like architects, engineers, surveyors and interested private citizens to join them, Buenafe said.*
