A 43-year-old man wanted for a violent May 2025 election day shooting in Silay City, Negros Occidental, that left two people dead and eight others injured was arrested on Thursday, May 28.Police identified the accused as alias “Clar,” a resident of Brgy. Robles, La Castellana, who was also listed as the No. 1 most wanted person at the regional level in the Negros Island Region.The accused was arrested in Purok Paho, Brgy. A murder charge has been filed against the suspect who allegedly hit a 13-year-old boy on the head with a beer bottle in Escalante City, Negros Occidental, resulting in the minor’s death.Police said the case was filed on Thursday, May 28, against alias “Toto,” a former CAFGU member and traffic enforcer in Escalante City.The incident happened in Brgy.
