Capitol photo The Volleyball Association of Negros Island Inc. team will be playing in the Philippine Superliga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup 2021 in Subic Bay, Zambales, on February 26-28, which is the first bubble tournament for volleyball this year. The players are Alexa Polidario, Erjane Magdato, Jennifer Cosas, Gelimae Villanueva and their coach is Coach Jason Delmo, a press release from the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol said. City PIO photo San Carlos City through its City Sports Office kicked off its 1st Mayor's Cup Badminton Tournament at the City Sports Complex on December 3. The tournament includes varsity (men’s doubles), 30-up (women’s and men’s doubles), 50-up, and city officials (men’s doubles) categories. Gilberto Repetillo, badminton in-charge, said that the tournament was supposed to last for two days but with the pandemic, they plan to extend it to have a manageable number of players in every session and to strictly apply social distancing.*
