Capitol waiting for guidelines for release of PBB, guv says

The Negros Occidental provincial government is waiting for the guidelines from the national government for the release of the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) of the Negros Occidental provincial government workers, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said Wednesday, January 24.

Definitely the provincial government is ready for the release of the PBB as soon as it gets the guidelines, he said.

The Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) is asking for the release of the PBB of the Negros Occidental provincial government workers as soon as possible.

PACE chairman Ruben Diamante said on Monday that he had written to the governor to request the release of the PBB, noting that it can be granted since the provincial government received a Seal of Good Local Governance award.

“The PBB is a valuable incentive that recognizes the hard work and dedication of government employees. It is also an important tool for motivating employees to achieve high levels of performance,” Diamante said.*
