There will be a COVID-19 booster shots walk in drive for Negros Occidental provincial government employees at the Negros Residences in Bacolod City next week, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Friday, January 7.

Available vaccines for the booster shots to be administered January 11 to 13 are Moderna and Astra Zeneca, he said.

One can avail of a booster shot three months after being fully vaccinated with Sinovac, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and two months after Johnson and Johnson jabs, he said.

The Provincial Health Office will cater to 500 personnel a day on a first come, first served basis, Diaz said.

Personnel who do not avail of their booster shot at the Negros Residences can do so in their respective local government units, he added.

Family members of provincial government employees will be scheduled for booster shots at later dates, he said.*
