Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said on Tuesday, May 2, that the provincial government employees should know by now that his administration is serious about going after those with anomalies.
Two employees of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and three security personnel have been under investigation for the loss of 789 bags of fertilizer at the Rice Processing Center warehouse in Tabunan, Bago City, in October last year.
“It is so unfortunate, I think by now they should know that this administration is serious about anomalies. We will not stop in the investigation, they should know that they cannot get away with it once we take notice of it,” he said.
All this should stop already, Lacson said.
“We are serious as far as disciplining our personnel is concerned,” Lacson said,
Lacson said he will leave the issuance of show cause orders to the five at Tabunan to the Provincial Legal Office. “Once they recommend that then I will follow,” he said.*
