
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson turned over checks worth P15,950,000 to barangays in the cities of Talisay, Silay, Himamaylan, La Carlota, and Sipalay, and the municipalities of Manapla, Murcia, Pulupandan, Moises Padilla, Isabela, Binalbagan, La Castellana, Ilog, Cauayan, and Hinoba-an.
The checks were received by barangay captains at the turn over ceremony at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, today.
Among the projects were acquisition of multi-purpose vehicles, construction of multi-purpose hall, rehabilitation of health center, clearing of drainage system, purchase of medical equipment and supplies, installation of street lights, construction of shed house, installation of water system, renovation of barangay hall, and construction of drainage system, a press release from the Capitol said.
Lacson told the barangay officials to take good care of their projects and to put them into good use for the benefit of more people.
Also present in the turn over were Board Members Andrew Montelibano and Agustin Ernesto Bascon.
