Free guided Capitol Culture Hub walking tours are now being held every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, Acting Negros Occidental Tourism Division head Raymond Alunan said.
The tour enables participants to learn about the history of the Negros Occidental Capitol building, Capitol Park and Lagoon Park and surrounding areas, he said.
“Those who join the tour will discover the fascinating stories behind lagoon park’s iconic landmarks and learn why our capitol building is considered one of the most beautiful in the country,” Alunan said.
Those interested may book ahead for the tour at the Negros Occidental Tourism Division Office at the Capitol Park and Lagoon, he said.*
