Cadiz slate for 2022 presented

Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante presented his slate for the 2022 polls to the heads of Love Negros and the United Negros Alliance at the Natures Village Resort in Talisay City on Monday, September 6.

Escalante, who is the secretary general of the United Negros Alliance (UNegA), is seeking reelection along with his Vice Mayor Lilia Decolongon.

He said their candidates for councilor are Lalen Lamis, Vincent Escalante, Marlon Metoda, Warren Zaragosa, Bamboo Puey, Shiela Tabanao, CJ Olvido, Fria Cervantes, Ging Desuyo and Judge Frances Guanzon.

Present at Mondays gathering were Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson of Love Negros and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer of UNegA, Rep. Leo Rafael Cueva (Neg. Occ., 2nd District) and Sagay Mayor Alfredo Marañon III.

Cueva is running for vice mayor of Sagay City and Marañon for congressman of the second district in 2022, Escalante said.

Second District Board Members Samson Mirhan and Sixto “Pal” Guanzon will seek reelection, he added.*
