A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after a pickup truck ran over him at Barangay Banago, Bacolod City, Sunday, December 11.
Police withheld the name of the minor-victim.
The victim was on board his bicycle when he fell to the ground after the tricycle in front of him suddenly halted. The 43-year-old businessman driving the pickup did not notice the victim and ran him over.
The minor-victim was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
Capt. Armilyn Vargas, Police Station 3 head, said an initial settlement has been reached by both parties.
The minor-victim is now in stable condition, she said.*
