A high-value drug suspect known as “Boss” was arrested and more than P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City, on Wednesday, March 25.
Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at around 12:33 p.m. in Purok Paraiso.
Police said the 24-year-old suspect was caught after selling suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.
Authorities recovered about 210 grams of suspected shabu, along with the buy-bust money and other non-drug items.
The suspect was informed of his rights and is now under police custody.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against him.
The seized items will be submitted for laboratory examination.*
