A decomposing body of a male person found floating in the waters off Suyac Island in Barangay Taba-ao, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, remained unidentified on Sunday, Feb . 23.
The body of the unidentified, male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with an angel tattoo on his right arm, Jesus Christ tattoo on his left arm and wearing a rosary around his neck was discovered 10 a.m. Saturday, the police said.
The victim’s body may have been carried by strong current to the area, the police added.
There were no signs of foul play or struggle observed on the cadaver.
The police are coordinating with other police stations to establish the identity of the victim.*
