BJMP-NIR personnel test negative for drugs

Seventy-five personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology–Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR), including its regional director, all tested negative during random drug tests conducted at the agency’s regional office on  Monday, Sept. 15.

The activity, carried out by the Health Service Division, was held under the directive of JCSupt. Brendan O. Fulgencio, regional director of BJMP-NIR, who also joined the testing.

Samples were processed and handled under strict protocols, with transparency observed throughout the procedure, the bureau said in a press release.

BJMP-NIR said the results reaffirm their commitment to a disciplined and drug-free workplace, strengthening public trust in the services they render.

“All 75 personnel yielded negative results, proving once again our workforce’s dedication to integrity and professionalism in public service,” BJMP-NIR said in a statement.*
