The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recorded zero-crime-incidents in the first 14 days of the MassKara Festival.
PCol. Joeresty Coronica, BCPO Director, said that comprehensive security measures were implemented across all festival sites — including event zones, concert areas, and major crowd convergence points.
The heightened police visibility and strict coordination among security units helped maintain peace and order during the festivities, he said.
The achievement was made possible through the MassKara Festival Task Group, composed of the BCPO, other law enforcement agencies, the local government, and private partners, working together under a unified command structure, Coronica said.
Coronica commended the dedication of BCPO personnel and thanked the public for their cooperation throughout the celebration.
“The success of the MassKara Festival’s security operations reflects the discipline of our personnel and the active support of Bacolodnons and tourists who celebrated responsibly,” Coronica said.*
