The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) arrested 11 persons and confiscated illegal drugs worth over P660,000 in a week-long series of operations from July 28 to August 3.
A BCPO report said seven anti-illegal drug operations were conducted during the period, resulting in the seizure of 97 grams of suspected shabu worth P659,600, and 2 grams of marijuana valued at P2,400.
Aside from the intensified anti-drug drive, the police operatives also arrested one individual listed as a wanted person and six others with pending warrants for various charges.
Two operations against illegal gambling were also carried out, leading to the arrest of two individuals and the confiscation of P380 in bet money.*
