Barangay 10 administrative officer Marvi Vasquez took her oath as the new kagawad of the barangay before Mayor Evelio Leonardia at rites at the Bacolod City Government Center Tuesday, March 16.
Vasquez was barangay administrative officer for two years, and a former kagawad of the same barangay for five years, a press release from the Bacolod Public Information Office said.
Vasquez filled the slot of Kagawad Melvin Bravo who became punong barangay, succeeding Punong Barangay Dexter Yap who passed away January 11.
Witnessing the oath-taking were Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, City Legal Officer Joselito Bayatan, Executive Assistants Butch Soliguen and Tere Manalili, newly elected CENECO District 5 director Antonino Panique, and Bacolodnon Monsour Del Rosario, a former congressman of Makati City’s First District.
Also joining the ceremony were kagawads Feljuan Verba, Ma. Judith Dacones, Rebel Articuna and Danilo Demapanag, and Vasquez’s family.*
