
Bacolod City and Negros Oriental will remain under General Community Quarantine with Heightened Alert (GCQ-HR) until September 30, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. said on Monday, September 6.
The GCQ-HR in both areas was initially set until Tuesday, September 7.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental will remain under GCQ until the end of the month, he added.
Bacolod City had 73 new COVID-19 cases for a total of 1,020 active cases on Tuesday, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.
Negros Occidental had 68 new cases and 1,560 active cases, the DOH added.
But the Provincial Incident Management Team said there were only 1,284 active COVID-19 cases in Negros Occidental Tuesday.*
