A senior citizen died after being hit by a motorcycle and then run over by a fuel tanker in Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City, on Sunday morning, Sept. 7.
Police identified the victim as Mario Celladora of Purok Malapitan,B rgy. Alijis.
At 8:30 a.m., a Rusi Flash 150 motorcycle driven by Reymark Pagente of Brgy. Handumanan was heading north along Circumferential Road when it hit Celladora, who fell to the ground, the police report said.
A fuel tanker driven by George Nobleza of Brgy. Singcang Airport, which was heading south, then ran over the pedestrian.
Celladora sustained severe injuries and was declared dead.
The motorcycle driver and his passenger also suffered minor injuries.
Both vehicles are now under police custody for documentation and investigation.*
