A Bacolod resident was found dead in Murcia, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, January 16, two days after he drowned.
Ryan Nacion, 25, of Purok Kabugwason, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, was found dead Tuesday morning, after he was reported to have drowned on Sunday, January 14.
PMaj. Mark Joeil Reclamado, Murcia police chief, said the victim was reported to have gone to the deep side of the Bago River in Brgy. San Miguel, Murcia, and was swept away by strong current.
His body was found in the river in Purok Calibago, Brgy. Lopez Jaena in Murcia, two days after, Reclamado said.*
