Two persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation and P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in Purok Magnolia, Brgy. 14, Bacolod City, at 12:52 a.m. on Sunday, January 14, the police reported.
Arrested were Rhodora Mijares Madriniño, a high value target, and Romel Esponilla Alfar, a street-level target, the police reported.
The total suspected shabu seized from the suspects was 206 grams valued at P1,400,800, the police said.
Also seized were a 9 mm pistol and five pieces of ammunition, buy-bust money, and other non-drug, the police added.
They are now detained at the Bacolod City Police Station 2 and the recovered drug items were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.*
