Bacolod City Police Office personnel were awarded for their “exemplary performance that contributed to the overall accomplishment of the Philippine National Police”.
The awarding was held at the Police Regional Office-6 headquarters in Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City, on Monday, July 25.
Cpt. Elmer Bonilla, Police Station 7 chief, and SSg. Edlyn Villan, were awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Merit Medal ) for their anti-illegal drugs campaign accomplishments.
Lt. Edward Bolivar, who was then assigned to the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company (BCMFC), was awarded a Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Proficiency Medal) for his contribution in the anti-terrorism campaign of the BCPO.
Priscilla Escobin, regional director of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) 6, was the guest of honor of the activity.
Escobin, in her message, lauded the awardees for their selfless efforts and sacrifices in delivering services to the community.
Meanwhile, the personnel of City Administrative Resource Management Unit (CARMU) headed by Lt. Col. Mary Rose Salve Pico, received a commendation for their outstanding performance that contributed in the overall unit rating of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division of PRO-6 in June.
Col. Thomas Joseph Martir, BCPO director, urged his men to strive hard with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism as public servants.*
