A help desk will also be available at the Bacolod City Government Center to address inquiries.

Each qualified beneficiary will receive ₱5,000 in fuel assistance.

The list of beneficiaries has been posted on the official Facebook pages of Mayor Gasataya, the Bacolod City Communications Office, and Serbisyo Patrol.

Gasataya said the city government has mobilized the necessary manpower and resources to ensure the smooth implementation of the program.

After the tricycle drivers, other public transport sectors will also be prioritized for assistance, the mayor said.

“All the necessary requirements to implement this program are being provided by the city. We have prepared the manpower, all the support, and everything else needed to ensure the proper implementation of this program,” he said.

“We hope that this assistance will somehow help our tricycle drivers. We also assure that after the tricycle drivers, other public transport workers will definitely be next in line to receive assistance from the government,” Gasataya said.

The city government through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) has also already started distributing rice subsidies to more than 2,100 traditional and modernized jeepney drivers.

Meanwhile, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is continuing its validation process for the upcoming release of fuel subsidies from the national government.

DSSD Head Richelle Verdeprado-Mangga reminded beneficiaries to bring their driver’s license and a photocopy for documentation and validation during the payout.*
