Officers of the recently formed Bacolod Hotel Alliance have been elected.
Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod Area General Manager Sherwin Lucas was elected president, with Roy’s Hotel and Convention Center President John Victor Go as vice president, a press release from the Bacolod City Tourism Development Office said on Thursday, May 1.
Acacia Hotel Sales Manager Catherine Gonzalez is the secretary, and Seda Capitol Central Hotel General Manager Kim Joseph Guimba is the treasurer.
Board members were Citadines Bacolod Assistant Manager for Brands and Marketing Allen Jimenez, Sugarland Hotel Operations Manager Regina Guanco, and L’Fisher Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager Teena Locsin-Javellana.
“By strengthening partnerships among accommodation establishments and fostering collaboration across all sectors, we are laying the groundwork for a strong M.I.C.E Alliance that will position Bacolod as a top destination for business and leisure”, Ma. Teresa Manalili, Chief Tourism Operations Officer, said.
The tourism office also aims to convene the Mabuhay Accommodations group as well as the restaurant operators and tourist transport operators, the press release said.
These collective efforts support the city government’s long-term vision of building a strong and cohesive M.I.C.E Alliance, positioning Bacolod as a premier destination for both business and leisure events in the region, the press release said.*
