Fire Superintendent Jenny Mae Masip has been appointed acting fire marshal of the Bacolod City Fire Station.
Masip was designated acting fire marshal and collecting officer of the Bacolod Fire Station effective Monday, June 10, FCSupt. Felixberto Abrenica, Bureau of Fire Protection regional director, said.
She replaced FCInsp. Stephen Jardeleza who was reassigned as Deputy Provincial Fire Marshal of Iloilo province.
Masip was the former deputy provincial fire marshal of Negros Occidental and has also served as provincial fire marshal of Capiz.
In 2023, Masip was awarded by the Bureau of Fire Protection as the Best Senior Commissioned Officer of the year at the 50th BFP Service Recognition Day.
She also served as the fire chief of Talisay City, Negros Occidental, in 2018.*
