Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) cops seized suspected shabu worth P1 million in three separate operations on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23, the Police Regional Office-6 reported.
PRO-6 said that the police forces in the region seized illegal drugs weighing 309 grams valued at P2.1 million and arrested 13 individuals in seven operations.
From the seven anti-illegal drug operations in the region, the BCPO arrested six individuals, while the Iloilo CPO arrested five, and Iloilo and Negros Occidental Police Provincial Offices arrested one each.
BCPO had the biggest volume of shabu recovery worth around P1,020,000 yielded in three separate operations while IPPO seized approximately P782,000.
The suspects are now under police custody and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
