A 19-year-old high-value individual was arrested after police seized about P2.1 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City early Sunday, May 31.
The Bacolod City Police Office identified the suspect as alias “Nash,” a resident of Brgy. 2.
Police said the operation was conducted at around 2:30 a.m. in Purok Tahong by the City Drug Enforcement Unit.
Authorities confiscated about 320 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P2,176,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of Police Station 2.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against him.*
