The police arrested three drug suspects, including a high-value target, and seized about P952,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation at Purok Bolinao, Brgy. 1, Bacolod City, Sunday, Sept. 14.
Arrested were Judy Hardin Bandiola, alias “Koykoy/Ebol”, 28, a high-value individual, James Cordova Ramos, alias “Wab”, 18, and Mark Aguirre Calopez, 22, both classified as street-level individuals and residents of Brgy. 1.
Authorities said the operation was launched past midnight by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of BCPO after receiving reports from a confidential informant about the suspects’ drug activities.
The police staged a buy-bust against Koykoy, which also led to the arrest of his companions.
Recovered from the suspects were one sachet of suspected shabu as buy-bust evidence, 31 more sachets of suspected shabu, a P1,000 bill used as marked money, and other non-drug items.
The total haul weighed around 140 grams with a Standard Drug Price of P952,000.
The seized items were submitted to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination, while the suspects remain under the custody of Police Station 2 for the filing of charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).*
