The drug bust at Brgy 3, Bacolod City*
The police arrested three persons, including a high-value drug personality, and seized suspected shabu worth P1.02 million in a buy-bust operation in Purok Lubi, Brgy. 3, Bacolod City, 4:08 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3.
Arrested were alias “Moeses”, a high-value drug target, “Erica”, and “Edron” in an operation conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit.
Confiscated during the operation were 150 grams of suspected shabu, the police reported.
The suspects are now under police custody and will face charges for violation of Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and 26 (Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Drug Trade) under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
