
The police arrested two men and seized more than P200,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, Bacolod City, Thursday night, Dec. 18.
The Bacolod City Police Office said the operation was conducted at around 9:30 p.m. in Purok Barracuda by the Police Station 2 Special Drug Enforcement Team and intelligence operatives.
The suspects were identified as a 39-year-old man and a 29-year-old tricycle driver of Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City.
Police said operatives confiscated around 35 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P238,000, along with drug paraphernalia and marked buy-bust money.
The suspects were arrested for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspects are currently under police custody and will face charges in court.*
