A high-value drug personality was arrested after the police seized from his possession suspected shabu worth P476,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Paghida-et, Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, on Monday, Sept. 30.
Alias “Negro”, 31, of Brgy. Tangub was arrested at about 7:58 p.m., a Bacolod City Police Office report disclosed.
The suspect was arrested in the act of selling illegal drugs and was found in possession of more than 70 grams of suspected shabu, the BCPO said.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the BCPO and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, which is the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The police will continue to intensify its operations against illegal drugs in its commitment to creating a drug-free Bacolod, the BCPO said.*
