
The Bacolod City Legal Office closed down nine business establishments at Arceo Drive in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, for lack of business permits on Thursday, Nov. 16.
The nine establishments were closed for violation of Section 65, Article 20 of City Ordinance No. 565, series of 2011 or the Revised Revenue Code of Bacolod City, on the recommendation of the Bacolod Permits and License Division Office, City Legal Officer Romeo Carlos Ting Jr. said in a memorandum.
The nine establishments ordered closed are Simon Litson Manok Stall/Chef Simon Manok, D’Mutant, Max Mango, Nenas Rose, 3 Kids Bachoyan and Lomihan, Wash N’ Break Laundry Hub, Sizzling Station, Bcdrops Vape Lounge and Reg’z Chicken Inasal, Ting said.
Bacolod Permits and Licensing Office records shows that 25 commercial establishment were initially issued notices of closure, but the rest processed the requirements needed to stay open.
The city government is continuing to conduct inspections to ensure that businesses operating in the city are legitimate.*
