Bacolod biz permits collection in 2025 hits P521M, up 28%

The Bacolod City government collection from business permit fees has increased by P116,797,007 or 28 percent compared to last year.

City Treasurer Gary Gecosala said they have already collected P521,217,630 as of Day 16 of 2025 compared to P404,420, 622 in the same period last year.

That is as of January 20 data but the ongoing Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) application services at the Bacolod City Government Center will run until Feb. 15, he said.

As of January 20, the city has registered 15,566 business applications through the BOSS, Business Permits and Licensing Office head Stella Rose Rayos also said.

She said 14,910 were registered for renewal and 656 for new businesses.

There have so far issued 3,704 permits, or a 23 percent increase from 3,004 in 2024, Rayos said.*
